About me
My name is Sunčica Monika Gaim. I currently live between Berlin and Spain, and what has always guided me through life is a deep curiosity about people, their stories, and their inner world. Traveling — especially through Asia — has taught me how differently we can feel, think, and experience life. And at the same time, how deeply we all long for the same things: understanding, peace, and genuine connection.

Psychology interested me from a very young age. I was always drawn to questions like: Why do we feel the way we do? Why do we sometimes act against ourselves, even when we want something different? Over time, this curiosity became deeply personal — I wanted to better understand myself, my relationships, and the people close to me.
Today, my work is shaped not only by my education, but also by my own personal experience with therapy and inner growth. For more than seven years, I have been on my own journey of self-development and personal work. I know what it feels like to sit on the “other side,” to open up, to show vulnerability, uncertainty, or fear. And I also know how much courage real change requires. That is why it is so important to me that people feel safe, understood, and not judged in my presence.
I do not believe in a cold or “perfect” approach. I believe in genuine human connection, understanding, and creating a space where someone can simply be who they are. I completed my training as a psychological counsellor at the Deutsche Heilpraktikerschule, continued with additional education in solution-focused therapy based on the approach of Steve de Shazer, and I am currently in a long-term Gestalt therapy training program at EAPTI – European Accredited Psychotherapy Training Institute.
Personally, I am someone who prefers listening over talking. I love the sea, long walks, quiet moments, books, podcasts, and conversations that stay with you long after they end. Through different countries, moves, and phases of life, I have learned how important it is to keep finding your way back to yourself. And now, enough about me. 🙂 I look forward to getting to know you and hearing your story. Feel free to explore my website — and if you feel that my way of working resonates with you, I would love to hear from you.
Warm regards,
Sunčica Monika Gaim
